Stephen Preston, having qualified in 1971, began in full time practice in Chesterfield in 1976. After 25 successful years the business had outgrown the original offices in Saltergate and Prestons then moved to the opposite side of the football ground into a spacious and beautifully restored Victorian house at Berry Hill in Cross Street.

This service is the main area of recurring work provided by accountants in practice and in this respect, Prestons are no different. Fundamentally, it is the use of an entity's accounting information for reporting to parties outside the organisation. This covers third parties including HM Revenue & Customs, Companies House, insurance companies, banks and other lenders. Financial accounting procedures are commonly undertaken annually from the records maintained by the business.
Prestons Chartered Accountants are pleased to be able to offer their clients an easy cash flow friendly way to pay for our services with the introduction of Fee Plan. Fee Plan is provided by Premium Credit, an independent finance company established in 1988, developed in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
