We can provide regular support to your business by assisting with your routine bookkeeping requirements, including VAT & Making tax Digital. We can provide as much or as little bookkeeping help as you like; you can decide how much of the work you want to do and be trained by us as required. We can then deal with the remaining issues, also helping with the more complicated matters, such as VAT returns or payroll. We can also advise on suitable accounting software for your business and help train you or your staff to use it efficiently.
To help our small business clients or clients who are contractors we have made available support from KashFlow or from Xero online accounting services. KashFlow is a suite of online software that can be accessed from anywhere that has an intuitive interface that lets you input your data quickly and easily.
If you are in business then VAT can be a source of worry and concern. There are compulsory registration limits which are usually set each year in the Chancellor's Budget statement. As you might expect, there are penalties for late registration, penalties for incorrect VAT Returns or late filed Returns as well as interest charges for late payment.

Mark Harvey and Fuller Spurling were recommended to me about 20 years ago by a friend who had used multiple different accountants previously before sticking with Mark. In 20 years I've had no problems at all, only good. I'm kept up to date with news letters, receive reminders about my own deadlines. Whoever you speak to in the office, they are always friendly and helpful. More importantly my issues are always solved very quickly - no waiting around days for emails. First class service, always.

The accountants that say "it's easier sleeping with a chartered accountant", and the only thing better than their strapline is their service: no longer will you have to chase your accountant, no longer will you have to uhm and argh about what to do or when, or worry about missed tax deadlines. They're switched on, efficient, friendly and helpful. Are they the cheapest accountant available? Probably not, but they're well worth what they charge - thoroughly recommended.
