In 2015, MGI Midgley Snelling LLP launched the Fund to provide funding to organisations such as clubs, groups, associations and schools seeking financial assistance for their projects. They have consistently provided lackluster service, being reactive instead of proactive. The performance of my original consultant was so poor that he was replaced mid-year with one of the firm's partners. Unfortunately even that made little difference and in the end, they have taken in excess of a year to close my limited company (and it is still not closed) and they failed to alert me to a corporation tax shortfall which I only found out after calling HMRC myself. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend these accountants to anyone.
