We are also part of a global network of firms, helping clients with international trade matters.
MHA Moore and Smalley has extensive experience of advising charitable and not-for-profit organisations. This sector is a substantial part of our business and our specialist team advises some of the best known organisations in the region. We currently act for over 200 registered charities across the North West, with a combined annual income in excess of 110m p.a., putting us amongst the top specialist charity auditors in the UK.
MHA Moore and Smalley are specialists in the education field and currently act for 28 Academy Schools throughout the North West, including primary schools, secondary schools, alternative provision schools, free schools, and Multi Academy Trusts (MATs). We help schools through the process of converting to an academy, and more recently, we have been advising our clients on creating their own MATs, as well as growing their existing group.
MHA Moore and Smalley are proud to act for and advise several hundred farming and rural business clients who operate throughout Lancashire and Cumbria. We are informed and have extensive knowledge of the unique issues which face many of our rural clients. Through a specialist and dedicated team of individuals, who themselves are from agricultural backgrounds, we aim to provide clients with a proactive service and ensure that they are realising their full business potential whilst minimising their tax liabilities.
