Our online calculator will give you an indication of what your take-home pay could be after we've made the necessary deductions. Tax code 1257L The assumption of this calculation is that you will earn under 100k per year. If you earn over 100k please note for every 2 you earn over the 100k mark you will lose 1 of your personal allowance.

I did my research before finding an Umbrella Company to support me as I transitioned to consulting. I have had a mixed experience with Danbro and more recently have been frustrated with their lack of accountability and customer service. Pros and Cons as follows: Pros: - Timely payments - Invoice on time to supplier - Timesheet is easy (went down a few times) - Platform to track what is going on - Payslips are clear (once explained) Cons: - Customer Service is slow to respond - Failed to subscribe me to Healthcare packages for 10 months.
I only found this out by chasing them up. They haven't apologised and failed to take responsiblity for this. - New Contract. I had to chase their compliance team repeatedly to complete it on time. The business I engaged with were concerned by the delay. They did not send me the contract before agreeing it with the company. - Customer Service. Timesheet application was "down", I call customer service to complete it for me and they told me "it doesn't matter, your other supplier does it for you" even thought I wanted it for my records.
Overall - if you need someone to process some daily/monthly pay checks they will do the job. If you want a high quality service that delivers on the promises from the sales calls - I would give it a miss.

AVOID THEM LIKE PLAGUE. I paid 700 to another accountant to clean up the mess they made. I was not notified about the right amount of tax I had to pay and got around 1500 on overdue fees. They have many inexperienced employees who are cycled with a very fast rate, they changed my representative 3 times in one month! As you can imagine many things fall through the cracks with so many handovers. Getting someone on the phone is almost impossible and my new accountant had to send them at least 20 emails until they handover my folder.

Bloody awful umbrella company to use. So far payments have to be chased up and texting from abroad then seems to push payment into happening. Took 16 days to reply to an email query despite more than one email being sent. Customer support is poor to non-existent. No help if you're overseas as they have no web based phone communications, and expect you to pay the charges when they wish to ring you. If IR35 wasn't enough, this company make it an even more gruelling experience. They may well be great if you're UK based, but I connot comment on this

**This is based on limited company accounting** DO NOT USE. I'm currently in the process of closing my limited company after moving to umbrella. I've been misled several times and I feel I've been taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge in the area - but this is why I paid the higher end for their "services". I was told I would have X amount in my account after company closure, however they've managed to leave me owing just over 2000!
I have also been told I would receive a HMRC refund which I've now been told I WON'T be getting. I've only ever paid what I've been advised to pay and even after breaking this down myself to the Accountant, they didn't make it clearer and it seems they are covering their own mistakes. I asked for management or another set of eyes but heard from no one else.
This company really need to take accountability for their clients who pay for their services. I've had a read and I'm not the only one this has happened to and I'm just hoping this will help prevent it happening to others.

I paid another accountant to redo Danbros extremely poor effort and still ended up in a better position even after paying another accountant. I did get a partial refund from Danbro based on simple expectations not being met, but would advise anyone to find an alternative accountant. This is a low value, templated approach to accounting.

Having read previous reviews, it should not be a surprise that a company applies a cost to provide a service. How dare Danbro not work for free! (Sarcasm intended). My payments were provided to me on time. From the initial call, I was provided a clear calculation displayed all the deductions such as Tax and NICs and their margin. There was nothing hidden from me and all was explained clearly as far as I am concerned. Maybe read trustpilot for a better views of this company.
