Here at Stephenson Smart & Co, we regularly provide opportunities for those training for a career in both audit and accountancy. We look to employ individuals who seek to embark on an exciting and rewarding career. The ideal candidate will have studied and achieved 'A' levels or a 2:1 degree standard, with at least 120 UCAS points at 'A' level.
Whilst working with a broad base of corporate and individual clients on a daily basis, Garry's particular area of expertise is in providing accountancy and taxation advice and services to small and medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals. He also acts as Financial Director of Stephenson Smart's Financial Services Company.
Reporting taxes just once a year is on its way out. Businesses will need to start making quarterly tax submissions from 2019. Although it may mean you have to make changes, it can actually help streamline tax and accounting. In a bid to simplify tax reporting, Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is moving away from only filing taxes annually.
