Bookkeeping is the recording of your business's financial transactions. It can take many different forms depending on the size and nature of your business, but whatever system you use, it needs to be complete and reliable. For that reason, go for a system that is simple and easy to maintain. One that you will be comfortable with using on a regular basis.
Some software companies have used this change as a great opportunity to sell on-line bookkeeping software, usually charging a monthly subscription fee. Whilst this type of software can be useful for some businesses, it is relatively expensive and can be complicated to use. Products marketed on television may not be the best available or suited to your needs, and should be viewed with some caution.
Financial accounts are a statement of how much money a business has made in a given period (usually a year). There could be many reasons, but the main one is usually tax. If you are self employed, a company director, or have untaxed income you will need to file a tax return with H.M. Revenue & Customs, and pay any tax due.
Please note that GPS and internet-based directions to Millbrook do not show the best route. Please see my recommended route to the right. From Saltash, take the A38 towards Liskeard. From Liskeard, take the A38 towards Saltash. Either way, when you reach the roundabout at Trerulefoot, take the A374 (sign-posted Torpoint & Looe) towards Crafthole.
