Bertram Burrows was established in West Kirby in 1962 by Charles Bertram Burrows in distinctive offices built by his father in 1905. His aim was to provide local clients a quality of service which was previously only available in larger cities like Liverpool or Chester. From the 1970s the firm was run by the founder's son, Chris Burrows before incorporating in 2015 when its ownership passed from Chris to John Phythian.
