Established in 1980 in the city of London by Jimmie Brown, Brown McLeod Ltd began as a small firm, mainly advising overseas companies and non-domiciled individuals on tax and accounting issues in the UK and Worldwide. To this day, we still retain a large portfolio of overseas clients at our offices in Sheffield and London.

Since 1985, Brown McLeod Ltd operated from our sizeable Clarkegrove Road, Sheffield Head Office, growing our accountancy practice across a broad range of industries and sectors. As our business has continued to grow, and our teams develop and multiply, we have continually extended our building to accommodate new staff.
Brown McLeod Ltd's directors and key staff spend a great deal of time in the capital, looking after the needs of our London and Home Counties-based clients. With a large proportion of Brown McLeod Ltd's clients operating in the Entertainment industry, it's a practical necessity to have a central London base.

We have all heard of fairweather friends; well now we have fairweather accountants. This company offered my companies and myself good and timely services for approaching ten years. But as soon as I had a tax investigation they dropped me like a ton of bricks immediately; adding only to the stress and worry of an already harrowing time. So "buyer beware" they are only good when the going is good; pity you if you have an investigation (which a lot of people or companies will do over a lifetime of trading).
