DO NOT TOUCH. You only have to read the other reviews to see how poorly run this place is. I have used this make shift company for the past 2 years. After last year Jim didn't submit my returns in time so i had a 100 fine. this year i have gone else where and he has refused to share my previous tax returns. If you don't want hassle and a shoddy job- dont use. HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH. NEED SHUTTING DOWN.

My partner rang up to sort his stuff out, and the man was absolutely rude and aggressive towards him! This place aught sort them selfs out and have some respect towards customers! I'm very surprised if anybody uses "City Tax Shop" they are absolute AWFUL! And I didn't want even give this place one star I'd give them Nothing! They don't deserve anything!.

I would advise to avoid, I went to these guys in 2013 to do my tax return and put in that I am no longer trading. I paid my fees there and then, then had all my information i.e, name, business, incoming, out going etc. I sat there for over one and half hours. I have just received a letter from HMRC today 18/03/19 and my return was never done and also they never put through that i am no longer trading and they are saying that I owe 3243.00.
Please avoid at all cost to say im not happy is an understatement. I call to see why this is and I'm expected to run around and find receipts which is more than 6 years and to say he was really rude on the phone and did not take any responsibility, I am sending in my forms now which these guys should have done and i will be putting in the reason for the late filing down to the city tax shop and they will investigate the reason for the none filing from the city tax shop, I will also be seeking compensation if i have to pay these fees as you took money to do a job. don't use the excuse that you could have 2 utr's thats the excuse i got on the phone, i have only got one before you try to use that excuse as I only just come off the phone to HMRC
