Stanley Woods & Co is a Newtownards based accountancy firm and we specialise in working with small businesses. 2012 was an exciting year for us as we celebrated 75 years in practice and moved to our new premises in Alexander House, Church Street, Newtownards and 2015 sees us expanding our client base and continuing to grow our business. We aim to provide a working environment, which will optimise the performance of all members of our firm and create job satisfaction.

Stanley Woods & Co. was originally founded in 1937 in Belfast, but moved to Newtownards 2 years later. William McAdam FCCA is the sole proprietor of the firm. There are currently 6 staff working in the office. We specialise in working with small businesses and have established a wide client base within the local business community.
This includes planning, projections and general advice to help you get your business off the ground. Take the hassle out of your VAT and PAYE by letting us look after this for you. We operate a full Bureau service, including all online communication with H M Revenue & Customs on your behalf. With the implementation of Real-Time Information for PAYE this has become an area of concern to many business, let us help and ease the burden.
With the ongoing worsening of the current situation and in the interests of all our staff, families and clients we are now closing our office to all visitors. There will be no face to face meetings for the immediate future; however we are still available by telephone and email. Most of our staff will be working from home to continue to support our clients through this difficult time, and to simplify matters and enable them to run your payroll, accounts etc in an appropriate and timely manner we would ask clients to email information as much as possible.
