David Pattinson established his accountancy practice in 1982, operating from his spare bedroom with little more than a desk, a telephone and a typewriter. A loyal band of clients was gradually built up and in 1986, when the workload became too much for one person, it was time to move on. A house was purchased with a large garage, which was converted to a more business-like office, so that clients no longer had to wait in the living room.

As well as a secretary, the firm also employed school leavers to train as accounting technicians, allowing further expansion in the client base as more services could be offered.

There are no standard charges for most of the services which we provide. Fees are computed on the basis of the time spent and the levels of skill or responsibility of the staff needed to do the work. In the case of a new business, it is not usually possible to give a firm quote for future fees, because the amount of work required will be dependent on the success of the venture. For established businesses, however, it will usually be possible to give an indication of the likely level of fees following a brief review.

Here is my response to that misrepresentation. The Chartered Accountant described is someone who has trained in a large city firm, where most of the clients are listed companies and the work is mainly auditing.

So starting using David and his team last year, had to register for VAT and he was highly recommended by some professional bodies. He has completed my tax return which was not straightforward but nothing seemed to bother him or Jade. I wish i found him years ago. I found his prices reasonable. I was a bit worried being a chartered Accountant would be very expensive.

He has years experience and a true Gentleman. Even if you are in a bit of a mess and need help to get your business straight i would not hessite to use this company. 5 stars all round
