Hopefully my conclusion is correct in that it does not apply to my business Yet another example of our government putting more unpaid work onto small businesses whilst claiming that they are making our life easier. One thing that you can rely on during these testing times. Be it a politician or a civil non-servant. They will lie to you.

The staff at Albert Goodman exceed excellence in both customer service skills and their own area specific accountancy knowledge. We have had the pleasure of welcoming several members of staff to our Somerset Ladies in Business Networking group, all have been helpful and friendly, offering professional advice and guidance when needed. The organisation has also been incredibly kind to allow the use of their meeting rooms. I have yet to use their Accountancy services, but if the experience I have had so far is anything to go by, they will be superb.

So far my experience has been very poor. There have been long delays in getting a response from this company that have now meant that I have missed an essential deadline with HMRC. I contacted them three months ago and had a phone consultation with them. During this phone consultation, this deadline was not mentioned. I sent all required documentation to them and they only got back to me the night before the essential deadline (so there was no way I could possibly pay on time).
I am now incurring financial penalties on my unpaid taxes. Had I been given the correct information by this company I would not be in this situation. I look forward to getting an answer about where I stand and how I proceed from here. just as soon as the accountant from Albert Goodman returns from her three day weekend. Very unhappy right now.

I recently attended a free Xero workshop at Albert Goodman and have to say the advice received from Tom and Kayleigh has been invaluable. They have constantly been on hand to provide support as when we have needed it and nothing is too much trouble. Their ability to explain things in a manner in which I can understand has also been so helpful. Would highly recommend Albert Goodman for their services.
