We offer the full range of accountancy services, from bookkeeping to the preparation of statutory accounts. You can do as little or as much as you like - all we ask is that generally, if you are doing your own bookkeeping, you let you have a look at it every few months just to enable us to give a bit of guidance, if appropriate, and to minimise year end accounting adjustments. However, if you just want to hand it all over to us, we have plenty of clients who just give us their receipts and bank statements on a regular basis, and we do the rest.
Corporation Tax

We can calculate and submit your corporation tax return to HMRC. We will ensure your company takes advantage of all relevant reliefs and provide advice to you regarding the most tax efficient options going forward. Whether it is advice on structuring certain transactions in order to be able to claim certain capital reliefs, of advice on exactly what is and is not a tax deductible expense, let Absolute Accountants help you to make sure you are fully compliant with HMRC rules, but only pay as much as you need to in tax.

VAT may appear to be straight forward, and in many instances it is. But there are plenty of complexities which can catch out the unsuspecting business person. Let Absolute Accountants review your business to determine whether or not you should register for VAT (even if you are below the VAT threshold) . With a range of schemes and options available from HMRC, it does not have to be a burden if you do it properly. Whether it is the standard scheme with quarterly returns, a flat rate scheme, annual returns or the cash basis, knowing your options and what they mean could leave you better off (and safe from HMRC penalties) .

We cam complete your self assessment tax return to ensure you take advantage of all appropriate benefits and reliefs and pay the appropriate tax. In certain situations we may be able to retrospectively review prior tax returns and if appropriate a tax refund can be claimed. We are really impressed with the work Letitia has just done for us. She has created a report which is really well structured, extremely clear and takes a relatively complex subject and makes it easy for the lay-person to understand and digest. I've used Absolute Accountants for three years now and am very pleased with their service. They are very accessible and will answer the phone outside office hours which is a real boon for a self-employed person! They offer advice and strategy, always keep in touch via email, and are easy to work with. I use them principally for my business accounts, but last week was delighted to find they also offer Capital Gains tax planning advice. Highly Recommended!
