Whatever you do, please do yourselves a big favour and DON'T TOUCH Steve Southwell and his so called S C Stock auditors with a barge pole! I ran a pub with Batemans Brewery (who also did the dirty on me) and Southwell was one of their so called approved stocktakers/accountants. After charging me 250 every six weeks basically for a little stock take and after I doing all the work for him with my accounts ect before I sent them to him.
Then even after i reminded him please don't forget to put my accounts at the end of the tax year to the tax man. HE DIDN'T? Which resulted in me getting a 100 fine! He then refused to answer my calls? And when he did answer I told him in no uncertain terms I want my full accounts back. Days later he actually through my accounts over an high gate of the pub in the pouring rain with some of them missing.
I then had to take them to a respectable accountants and have them all done again and have my tax return put in? Which cost me a further 700? Iam still to this day waiting for compensation from this so called stocktaker / accountant called Steve Southwell. I will reiterate DO NOT USE THIS MAN or if you are SACK HIM IMMEDIATLY and cut your losses before he does it to YOU.
