In one form or another Chalmers HB has been providing advice to the business community for the best part of a century. The firm in its current format was formed in 2002 when the two well known and respected local firms, Chalmers & Co and Hucker and Booker merged to become Chalmers HB. As a firm we are a limited company with six directors and twenty five staff.
Gintare is a member of Tony and Jake's team. Gintare assists in the preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and VAT returns. Phoebe is a member of Philip and Paul's team, Phoebe assists in the preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and VAT returns.
Using the latest technology, our app has been developed to provide you with useful tax tools and information via your mobile device. Tax tips - a section on practical tax tips covering family, businesses, selling assets and tax efficient savings. A range of tax calculators - gross pay to net, gross pay to net (self-employed), VAT due, corporation tax due, company car and fuel benefits, SDLT due, loan repayments and mortgage repayments.
Born in Wells and now living locally, Robert is married with two daughters and three grandchildren. After completing his secondary education in Wells he was given a bursary from a locally based manufacturing firm of international repute. This enabled him to further his education by studying various diverse business orientated subjects that included Accountancy, Law, Geography, Statistics, Economics, and Economic History; first at Strode College, Street, and then by attending the Bristol College of Commerce.

We recently appointed Chalmers HB as our accountants and they have just completed our year end accounts.
