Eden country care have been using David Allen for accounts and I.T for over 20 years. All members of staff have been extremely helpful over the years with any issues we have had with I.T or the accounts side of things. David Allen doesn't pay staff wages. His animal husbandry is shocking. And is a bit of a sleaze to top it off. Avoid, there's plenty of honest trust worthy accountants, he's not one.

I've used David Allen, Workington branch, for my accountancy for a few years now. Always dealt with Michael Fearon but he's recently left and put me onto Andrew Kilgour and he's also fantastic. Any questions or queries I have, they are sorted quickly and I always get the best advice. Yesterday i had a personal viewpoint not commercially for once of David Allens staff first hand, , manager at Dumfries branch came to discuss my boyfriends business. I was beyond impressed! She was not only professional and knowledgable about the sector, but more importantly I felt she was working for us in the business putting herself in his shoes.

I can personally say I would recommend to not only clients but friends, from a small business like ours where my other half does have boxes of receipts so long winded.we were treated the same as if we were a huge outfit, you could not get anyone more personable and knowledgeable Thank you not big enough.#impressed.

I retired from David Allen today and wanted to express my thanks to David, Alison Welton and the partners for their support during my time there. I thoroughly enjoyed working at David Allen - the atmosphere is great and the people very friendly. There is a real team spirit and a real desire to help people achieve their career dreams. This is my second review in relation to dealing with this farce of a company and the appalling service I received. I was threatened with legal action if I didn't take down my first review (obviously don't like bad ones), so wrote directly to the legal team outlining the considerations for my words (which was received as I got the out of office. reply).

They haven't bothered replying to me so clearly two businesses that have no respect for who they deal with. Obviously well suited to one another! The mortgage advisor was beyond useless, unable to do simple maths (if you ignore my advice check your figures), asking me to sign blank paperwork (naive of me I know) then endorsing it with whatever they want. Speaking with Manager who pays lip service and agrees you have been treated appallingly (I have a witness to the conversation) and then retracts all comments.

I unfortunately had to deal with several members of staff who were all clearly incapable of telling the truth. My advice would be AVOID! If you choose to ignore this do so at your own peril but RESEARCH!

Just joined the Dumfries branch. David and Amy are both fantastic nothing is too much trouble, good value for money and they are very professional. Can not rate this company high enough. If your looking to change ur account then look no further than David Allen. Great knowledge of the agricultural sector.

I have just had a first meeting with Jane Clingan from David Allen, and the advice and support that she provided was fantastic.
