It pains me to have to write this review as I had high hopes for my working relationship with this accountant. I went to them to get some help with my already submitted VAT return as the VAT man had been in touch with a few queries. I was told by Mr Javid to leave the entire facilitation to him and that I should transfer 1800 to them as the matter may go on for a while, which I paid the next day.
The VAT man kept sending letters to him and copying me in to the point where it was stated that if a response was not received HMRC will make the claim null and void. I forwarded all these emails to him, called him on several occasions until two days before the deadline and with several missed calls from the VAT man I decided to edit the spreadsheet my self, which took me about 3 hours.
Prior to editing the spread sheet I called Mr Javid and told him that given the situation and the approaching deadline, I was considering editing the spreadsheet myself, his response was, well if you feel that way. I then asked him to deduct from the money we wait fees for any work that he feels that is justified and refund the balance to me. I made several call to his office and sent several emails, he told me around the end of January that my refund was not a priority and that it was the end of the month so therefore he was quite busy with his clients.
I reminded him that I was also his client. I called him again a couple days after this and he said he will make the payment, but didn't. I send it two emails since that and call him again on Friday 5th of Fe
