The Accounts are a picture of how your business is performing and if the business is trading as a Limited Company then they are a statutory obligation. They will be invaluable for providing information for your annual Tax Return whether income or corporation. We will give you guidance on areas in which we consider you could legally avoid tax and guarantee to regularly inform you of your tax payable, if any, in advance of deadlines. We will liase with the Inland Revenue on your behalf and ensure you are left to run your business with the minimum of compliance hassle.
Miss the deadline date and you will incur a 100 fine. After 3 months this will start to go up by 10 per day up to a maximum of 900!. If you are one month late the Inland Revenue can increase the tax due by 5%, or 300, if greater. After that it will ratchet up another 5% of the outstanding tax every 6 months!
Q Who are Lepton Accounting? The business was formerly known as TaxAssist Direct and has been trading since 1999. The business is specifically set up to provide accountancy, taxation and advice to small businesses. Like our clients we are also a small business and fully appreciate the highs and lows this brings.
