We have been using Hanley & Co for many many years. They are a very professional company who can answer all of your questions regarding all aspects of tax, capital gains, etc. and also give advice on things you aren't sure of. The Accounts and tax returns are done in a timely manner and you can get to speak to whoever is dealing with them, for us it's Michael, who is excellent. For more complicated matters Dean Logan is your man. I wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending them to anyone, an excellent choice.

I established my company ACP&D Limited in 1996 and the first business decision I made was to choose which accountancy firm was going to be used. The quotes provided for their retainer based service do not stack up on an hourly rate of 180 p/h. So if you decide to pursue a quote with this company, compare the retainer rates based on the above. It won't result into too many hours work. They will no doubt gladly charge you extra at the end of the year. To note they wrote our extra fee's off when we made a formal complaint and raised the case with the ICAEW.
One of many concerns for this account was that upon instructing Hanley & Co that we were not satisfied with the service and to cease and desist on all matters of the accounts for this and our other business engaged, they then tried to access the accounts program we used. We had changed the password prior to the instruction, however for a profession such as this, it was not what I would call professional to even try. We have an open and active complaint with the ICAEW body progressing. If it was not for Covid19, legal action would have started already.
