Initially, the firm was started by Derek Field on a part-time basis in 1966. His main occupation at the time was with a major client. However personal clients and companies approached him and the practice gradually built up. It deals with clients from the smallest sole trader to large multi-million pound companies. The firm has a sound base of UK clients. It also has strong ties with European clients and, in this respect, it deals with the requirements for companies and firms operating throughout the European Union.
